SBB

January 31, 2018, an amazing Lunar related event was happening.  The moon was a SBB-Super Blue-Bloody Moon--meaning that the Moon is closer to the Earth, the second full moon of the month, and that a lunar eclipse was taking place.  This will take place all in the early morning of the Pacific Standard Time.

This event is especially rare, due to the fact that the moon is Super, Blue, and Bloody all at the same time.

This happens rather slowly, because the Earth's shadow is larger by distance from the sun to the moon, the farther both objects are, the larger the shadow. It is also due to the fact that the Earth, Moon, and Sun, are moving putting the moon out of the shadows.

From four to six in the morning, the moon was casted in the shadows of the Earth, but disappeared from the horizon when it is recovering from its "Bloodiness". At three almost four, the moon will start to be "eaten", and in an hour later, the moon was all red, till six, the moon started getting it "glowing" back, and at seven-thirty, it disappeared from the horizon, with about a quarter more of "Blood" left.

The SBB, will take up the full moon in February, and the next full moon, will happen on March First. This is the first spectacular lunar show in 2018, but Lunar eclipse are not very rare they happen 4-7 times per year rather than Solar Eclipse-they happen about two times per year. Although a SBB will not happen at March, a Blue Moon will occur in March (on the 1'st and 31'st).
